Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

This is a reminder page for myself to look back on. If you benefit from it, Alḥamdulillāh. If not, please remember me in your du'ā's.

The verse of joy and hope for the righteous and the sinners alike.

Oh Allāh, envelope us in your Mercy.

Healing is a journey, and is very much as individual as the person seeking it.

Do not measure the time it takes to recover - be in the process, despite your discomfort or desire to escape and give yourself a pat in the back for how far you've come since you started.
Parents often place a significant emphasis on their children’s physical health, ensuring they are well-fed, safe, and physically active. While these aspects are undoubtedly important, it’s equally crucial not to overlook their emotional well-being. Children need more than just physical care; they need emotional support, love, and affirmation.

Being present for children emotionally means actively listening to their fears, hopes, and dreams, and providing a safe space where they feel understood and accepted. It’s about more than just saying “I love you”; it’s about demonstrating that love through consistent actions, empathy, and encouragement.

Unconditional love is a powerful force. It helps children develop a strong sense of self-worth and security, knowing they are valued for who they are, not just for what they achieve. This love builds resilience, allowing them to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and a positive outlook.

Parents should make it a priority to tell their children how valuable they are, celebrate their individuality, and support their emotional growth. By fostering a nurturing environment where children feel seen, heard, and cherished, parents can profoundly impact their children’s emotional development and overall well-being. This holistic approach to parenting, balancing both physical and emotional care, is essential for raising well-rounded, happy, and healthy individuals.

5 Life Advice to Save Yourself from the State of Being Lost:

1. Increase your prayers for guidance, for example:⁣

2. Find righteous companions and stick with them.⁣

3. Getting out of a state of being lost requires determination, initiative, and action, similar to escaping from a burning house; it cannot be achieved solely through niyya (intention) but through action.⁣

4. Commit to reading a portion of the Qurʾān daily, no matter how small; the key is consistency in daily recitation.⁣

5. Perpetuate and regularly recite dhikr (remembrance) and supplications, for example:⁣

In summary: Do not neglect these daily:⁣

1. Qurʾān recitation.⁣
2. Du'a (supplication).⁣
3. Dhikr (remembrance).⁣
And above all, safeguard your obligatory prayers.⁣

This life is a test, a competition, a race!
You only have one chance to get ahead, and the position you finish in, is the position you will remain in for eternity.

In this race that determines your position in the hereafter, are you crawling? walking? running?

Think for a moment.

Know that there are those are running and never stopped and if you want their prize, start running and catch up!

This means putting hard effort into your worship and obedience to Allāh, more than the effort you put into acquiring worldly possessions!

The Du'ā' of the Prophet ﷺ:

اللهُمّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ العَجْزِ وَالكَسَلِ

Oh Allāh I seek refuge in you from inactivity and laziness.

May Allāh ﷻ help us get our priorities straight!

Fear Allāh! Fear Allāh! Fear Allāh!

Have the fear of Allāh in your heart, your limbs will submit to his will.

[beardedfella_]
The outcome of our lives is determined by our final actions. No matter how pious or sinful one’s life may seem, it is the conclusion that counts in the eyes of Allāh. This reality should instil in us both hope and humility—hope, because redemption is always possible, and humility, because none of us knows how we will meet our Lord.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “One man does the deeds of those who go to hell but is one of those who go to paradise, and another does the deeds of those who go to paradise but is one of those who go to hell, for judgement is given according to one’s final actions.” (Bukhārī and Muslim).

In light of this, it’s crucial to adopt an attitude of humility and self-awareness. Often, we are quick to judge others based on their current state or past actions, but we must remember that we do not know their true standing in the sight of Allāh. Someone who appears distant from righteousness today may surpass us in the end, just as someone who seems virtuous might falter at the last moment. Therefore, we should never consider ourselves superior to others. Instead, we should strive to see ourselves as constantly in need of improvement and guidance.
