Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

This is a reminder page for myself to look back on. If you benefit from it, Alḥamdulillāh. If not, please remember me in your du'ā's.

Your spouse is a rizq from Allāh. Like everything in life, have Tawakkul that this provision too will reach you when the time is right.

- Mawlānā Ḥuzaifah Ṣāleḥ
Short Istikārah du'ā' for on the spot decisions
The success of others doesn't equate to your failure. Every individual will have a unique quality that will give value to the people who are around him. There are enough people out there to benefit from the value you provide.

Mawlānā Haaris Abdus Samad
Remedies for anxiety
"Allāh is always looking out for you. He knows what’s best for you. You might think you’re going through an unwarranted tough patch in life but that may be a blessing in disguise for you. Good days will come. Just remember to say “Alḥamdulillāh ” through the bad days too".

How do you know your sin has been forgiven?

[Muftī Wasīm Khān]

Allāh ﷻ tells us in the Qur’ān 6:54 “When those who believe in Our verses come to you, say to them, “Peace on you. Your Lord has prescribed for Himself mercy, so that if any one of you does an evil deed out of ignorance and thereafter repents and mends his ways, then (you will see that) He is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.”

If Allāh ﷻ allowed us to seek his forgiven that means he wants to forgive us. Once we repent and dont indulge in that sin anymore, this is a sign from Allāh ﷻ that he has forgiven us.

May Allāh ﷻ accept our prayers and forgive all of our sins. Āmīn ya rab

Sincerity Of Intention

Shaykh-ul-Ḥadīth Mawlānā Salīm Dhorat
Your nafs and desires are the biggest enemies in your life. The one who learns how to control it, will be saved from corruption and the one who is overpowered by it will be consumed by this world in a way that will destroy them completely. If the nafs can be tamed, you are considered to be the most courageous of warriors in the sight of Allāh ﷻ. For the greatest Jihad in the sight of Allāh ﷻ is the struggle one has in controlling their desires.

Waki’ reported: Sufyan ath-Thawrī رحمه الله said, “I never dealt with anything more difficult on me than my own self. Sometimes it would be against me, and sometimes it would be for me.”

(H‌ilyat al-Awliya‌)

May Allāh ﷻ save us from the destruction of our own desires. Amīn Yā Rab.

O Allāh, O Most Beneficent, O Most Merciful, O Bestower of grace and honor

let us reach Ramaḍān by Your mercy,

the month of goodness and the Qur'ān,

and help us in it to fasting and standing in prayer,

and worship well in it, for from You is success, aid and repayment

and to You the whole matter returns, openly and secretly

[huraayrah]
Du'ā' when intending to fast + Du'ā' at the time of Ifṭār

(In Ramaḍān, it is better to make niyyah in the night.)
When passing by graves, it is as though the inhabitants are saying: “We were also just like you, walking casually in between graves & busy with issues of life. Soon you will just be like us, buried underground in nothing but a basic shroud.”

The action that has no sincerity in it!

"Remember, life is short. Use this opportunity to exert ourselves in the Ibadah of Allāh ﷻ to the best of our abilities. Ramaḍān will come and go. We need to enter Ramaḍān with the spirit of making Tawba and changing our lives."

[Muftī Ebrahim Desai
If Allāh ﷻ didn't love you, He would never have let you fast the days of Ramaḍān and stand its nights. He only gifted you this because He wanted to forgive you.
As soon as you realise that everything is truly controlled by Allāh, you will be happier.

You need to internalise it. Every little thing is controlled by Allāh, so if something goes wrong, something will go right and if you're sad today, tomorrow you will be happier.
This Ramaḍān, strive against yourself as much as you can

And wash your heart before your body

And your tongue before your hands

And destroy attempts to ruin your fast

And be careful not to be from those who do not attain from their fasting other than thirst and hunger.
