Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

This is a reminder page for myself to look back on. If you benefit from it, Alḥamdulillāh. If not, please remember me in your du'ā's.

The one who secures his ṣalāh, It will be nūr, evidence & salvation for him on the day of judgement.

Du'ā' for forgiveness

Our self-image is dynamic and changing.

While a positive self-image helps us recognise and own our potentials while being realistic about our limitations, a negative self-image can drive us to focus only on our weaknesses, distorting failure and imperfections.

Creating a positive self-image is a process of learning and unlearning that can go on over a lifetime.

Always start your day with Sūrah Yāsīn - either reciting or listening to it
كم من مجهول في الأرض معروف في السماء

"How many people are unknown on earth, but highly recognised in the heavens."

This world is but a delusion. The truly famous are those who will be honoured on judgement day with divine pleasure & acceptance.

May Allāh ﷻ make us amongst them. Āmīn

Just because things haven’t gone the way you wanted, does not mean you’ve failed. You’re being redirected. And you’ll continue to be redirected until you reach where you’re meant to, with the people you’re meant to be with and having learned the lessons you’re meant to learn.

3 things that will make us love the Qur'ān

Mental health is one of the most important aspects of wellbeing. Stay well. Keep mentally positive even if it means being distracted and remember that the best shifā’ is the Qur'ān

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاء وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ.
Du'ā' before and after finishing wuḍūʾ
Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه as he wept just before he died:

"I do not weep for your world! I weep because of the far journey I am going on and the little provision I have. Now I have ensued on a climb that will end in settling down in a Paradise or a Fire, and I do not know to which of them I will be taken."

A message to those who despair from the forgiveness and mercy of Allāh ﷻ

[Shaykh Saʿīd Al-Kamalī حفظه الله]

(@reflectionsformyself)
As soon as you realise that everything is truly controlled by Allāh you will be happier.

You need to internalise it. Every little thing is controlled by Allāh so if something goes wrong, something will go right and if you're sad today, tomorrow you will be happier.
