Ibn Hazm رحمه الله said: “Do not put off to tomorrow what you can do today. If you recognize this obligation you will make haste to do today even very small preparations for tomorrow, for if a small number of tasks are left to mount up they become a great number.

In fact they have become too many to do and the whole enterprise will be wrecked.”

Gratitude is the only mindset that lies at the heart of happiness, patience and hard work.

It helps us stay positive and content, drives us to work harder in life and also helps us see all of our problems in a completely different light.

The Sharīʾah was legislated by the one who created you.

It was legislated in your best interest, for you to live your best life.

So why do you keep running away from it?

You know what doesn't get enough credit? Quitting. Giving up. When something doesn't feel right for you, when you no longer find joy in something. Quit. It's fine. Not everything needs a period of overthinking. Istikārah, bismillāh and tawakkul.

Creating a positive self-image is a process of learning and unlearning that can go on over a lifetime.

Always start your day with Sūrah Yāsīn - either reciting or listening to it

كم من مجهول في الأرض معروف في السماء

"How many people are unknown on earth, but highly recognised in the heavens."

This world is but a delusion. The truly famous are those who will be honoured on judgement day with divine pleasure & acceptance.

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاء وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ.

Du'ā' before and after finishing wuḍūʾ

Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه as he wept just before he died:

"I do not weep for your world! I weep because of the far journey I am going on and the little provision I have. Now I have ensued on a climb that will end in settling down in a Paradise or a Fire, and I do not know to which of them I will be taken."
