Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

This is a reminder page for myself to look back on. If you benefit from it, Alḥamdulillāh. If not, please remember me in your du'ā's.

Sufyān b. Uyainah رحمه الله:

“A knowledgeable person is not he who knows the good and the bad. Rather a knowledgeable person is he who knows the good and follows it; and he knows the evil and shuns it.”

SubḥānAllāh. What we think is impossible is possible for the One who created the concept of impossible in the first place.

Amazing reminder from Muftī Wasīm Khan
As ṭullāb we aspire to the closeness of Allāh. How can we achieve this closeness with the presence of sins in our lives?
Accept the Qadr of Allāh. Know what hit was never meant to miss and what missed was always meant to be that way. To understand this is by far the most difficult thing one can learn to do, but once it's done, that's when one is able to taste the true sweetness of īmān.

Look inside yourself, you are more than what you've become.

Be grateful to your Lord for the good and even more when things don't go the way we want it to. He knows that which we don't. Allāh never burdens a soul with more than it can bear. What missed us will be replaced with something better. We pray for the love of Allāh while His love for us has always been there, who moved? Who else is there to pray to? Who else can guide us?

The pain you feel today is the reason why you've finally turned to Him. See this as a blessing and know it's all for a better you! Listen to your past. Don't live life blind. This path you tread was never made for the weak, you're almost there, bear patience and prepare to reap the reward of all that you've been through.

Grey skies don't last forever. Know that this too shall pass. There's a reason behind all this struggle, there's a reason why we fall, all for us to turn to Him, Him alone and there's nothing to do except rebuild, there's nowhere to go except up.

Do not lose hope; nor be sad. Allāh hears your duʿās. Be patient and trust Him to open the right door for you at the right time.

Be patient, for what's written for you is written by the Greatest of writers.

The Best Days Of Your Life – Journey To Allāh In The Days Of Dhul Ḥijjah
We often tend to get caught up in trying to be perfect, look perfect and act perfect and that we forget to focus on the here and now.

It is important to remember that, in essence, we are all imperfect, and perfection is an unattainable illusion. It is a self-destructive and addictive belief system that only eventually stops us from achieving our goals by making us believe nothing we do will ever be good enough.
