DON’T BE DECEIVED

Don’t think this doesn’t apply to you, if this is the people who ascribe to knowledge, then what about you & I?

Always repent for your sins and ask Allāh ﷻ for ‘Āfiyah.

Never become deceived by your knowledge, worship or the fact that you only sin in private!

May Allah protect us.

قال النووي - رحمه الله - في "شرح صحيح مسلم ١٧/ ٧٥ " :
‏" لو تكرر الذنب مئة مرة ،أو ألف مرة ، أو أكثر ، وتاب في كل مرة ؛ قُبِلت توبته ، وسقطت ذُنوبه ، ولو تاب عن الجميع توبة واحدة صَحَّتْ توبته ".

Imām Nawawī رحمه الله said in his explanation of Ṣaḥih Muslim 17/ 75:

If you were to commit the same sin a thousand or more times and sought repentance from it each time. Your repentance would be accepted and the sins would be dropped. Even if you made one repentance for all those sins, it would be accepted.

Always remember you have something to be proud of.

Celebrate the small wins

Privacy is key; that is if you value your peace and mental health. Oversharing is the root of many problems. Keep it low-key. Keep it unpredictable. No drama. No stress. Keep working hard in silence and trust the Almighty.

Happiness is more than a good feeling or a yellow smiley face. It is not something that just happens to us, or a bunch of boxes that we tick off till we arrive at success.

Life is a series of ups and downs, and therefore, true happiness is not a state of mind you need to be in every moment of every day. It's just a way of being.

I can't stress how important it is to always be grateful to Allāh سبحانه وتعالى for everything. Being grateful for the good and even more for the bad, for your Lord knows of that which you and I have no knowledge of.

Know that everything happens for a reason.

A reason which becomes clear for us once we pass on and see what it has been replaced with.

Shaykh-ul-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله stated:

"Whoever does not use his soul in the worship of Allāh, he will use it without his choice in the disobedience of Allāh. Therefore, the soul must have an occupation."

Failures, regrets, mistakes are all part of life. Do yourself a favour and don’t dwell on them. Learn the lessons they’re meant to teach you and move on. Life’s too short to be crying over what didn’t work out. The Almighty’s giving you another opportunity.
