Every soul will taste death.
The elderly, the young, the rich, the poor, the humble and the arrogant. If this is everyone’s end, then glad tidings to the ones who have found Allāh ﷻ and spent their lives striving to perfect their worship to Allāh ﷻ, to call to the truth and to benefit mankind.

Words From Shaykh-ul-Ḥādith Mawlānā Saleem Dhorat حفظه الله:
- People who are older and widowed should marry again, because they need companionship.
- It is good for the children to encourage their parent to get re-married. There are certain things that a husband/wife can only discuss with their spouse, and not their children.
- When someone gets re-married, it does not mean that they have forgotten their first spouse. Rather, the first spouse who has passed away is happy that their spouse has re-married, and isn't spending their life in sadness over their passing.

Leave Ramaḍān determined.
Determined to do better, to leave off sin, to seek Allāh’s Pleasure, to have high aspirations, to take committed action - to become a different person by the time (bi’ithnillah) the next Ramaḍān comes around.

Perhaps a disobedience that results in humiliation and brokenness is better than an obedience that results in pride and arrogance.

"Comparison is the thief of joy"
[Theodore Roosevelt]
Reality is, each of us has been bestowed with blessings from Allāh.
Our blessings maybe different.
But that's because we, as individuals, are different.
Our blessings are different, but we're all blessed.
Don't compare.
Live your own life.
Be happy.

“The body without Qur'ān is a tomb”
When you have no Qur'ān your soul dies. Your body becomes a walking talking tomb for your dead soul.
So what’s your relationship with the Qur'ān?

Of course, you are scared. But that thing you've been on the fence about? Do it anyway
So often we get caught up in our fears and anxieties, the what ifs and the maybes, that we don’t take the opportunities that are right in front of us. Be it having a hard conversation, quitting your job, taking on a new one or moving to a new place...just do it.
Being afraid is okay, but do it anyway.

I hope for one thing from my life: to live a life of Qur'ān. In all of its forms. To live with its recitation, pondering, memorizing, reviewing, and most importantly acting upon it.
