The Student of Knowledge During Ramaḍān

Purity, what a noble pursuit.
—of heart, body, mind, state, wealth, health, relations, knowledge.

جعلنا من الطيبين المتطهرين

‏رمضان مبارك علينا وعليكم

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“The month of Ramaḍān has come to you, a blessed month in which Allāh, Exalted is He, has obligated fasting upon you. In it the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell-fire are closed, and the devils are chained.”

(Nasā’ī)

Have dates in your ṣuḥūr

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "How excellent are dates as the believer's ṣuḥūr."

(Abū Dāwud 2345)

A person who recites this Du'ā' will get all his past sins forgiven.

حسناتُ رمضانَ طريقُك إلى الجنَّة،
The good deeds of Ramaḍān are your way to Jannah

والدَّاعون إلى السيئات فيه هم قُطّاعُ الطريقِ
And those who call to bad deeds during it are obstructers of its way

If Allāh ﷻ didn't love you, He would never have let you fast the days of Ramaḍān and stand its nights. He only gifted you this because He wanted to forgive you.
