Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

This is a reminder page for myself to look back on. If you benefit from it, Alḥamdulillāh. If not, please remember me in your du'ā's.

If Allah gave us every blessing all at once, we would not be able to appreciate them. Good things take time. Let’s be patient, keep faith in Allah and allow things to happen in accordance to Allah’s perfect timing.

What Allāh ﷻ takes from you, then it is for a wisdom

And what He leaves for you, then it is a mercy

If you know the wisdom, then be thankful

And if you ignorant of it, then be patient
Your worth is not in your job or your certificates

Your worth is what you are to Allāh ﷻ!
Just because things haven’t gone the way you wanted, does not mean you’ve failed. You’re being redirected. And you’ll continue to be redirected until you reach where you’re meant to, with the people you’re meant to be with and having learned the lessons you’re meant to learn.

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

‎« Taqwa has three levels:

‎ - Protecting the heart and limbs from sins and all forbidden affairs.

‎- Protecting the heart and limbs form disliked matters [makruh].

‎- Protecting oneself from non-beneficial acts and all that does not concern him.

The first gives the servant his life, the second gives him health and strength and the third enables him to gain happiness, contentment and light. »

The Qur’an & Sunnah speaks about different righteous people, those who

- Pray
- Recite the Qur'ān
- Fast
- Are charitable
- Remember Allāh ﷻ a lot
- Good to others etc.

The point is, avenues to Khair are numerous and some people may find some easier than others, strive inwhat you’re good at from good deeds Allāh ﷻ has given you tawfeeq to do, whilst trying to not neglect others.

But remember the doors to gaining Hasanat are numerous, if you’re not good at something there’s countless other good deeds you can do, especially in Ramaḍān.

Life is momentous and the truth may rush in upon anyone at any moment. When death comes, it is sure to. Whether we realise it or not, Allah is All-Aware of every single one of us: what we do, how we are, and what will be the consequences in our eternal life Hereafter.
