When you’re worried about finances remind yourself that you’ll get what was written and not a penny more. Instead, focus your efforts in securing halal risq & planning on how you’ll spend in halal & for the sake of Allāh. This will bring barakah & increase in wealth.

While self-criticism can sometimes be positive and foster personal growth, most times it is extremely detrimental and can have negative impacts on our wellbeing.

Check out this simple exercise to replace self-critical and negative thoughts with more realistic statements
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله

“Man’s time is in fact man’s life, it's the basis that'll shape his eternal life in perpetual bliss, or misery in eternal torment. Time passes swifter than clouds, so whatever time one spends for Allāh ﷻ by the help of Allāh ﷻ, that is his life.

Q: Don’t you fear poverty?

Abu Hazim رحمه الله said:

“How can I fear poverty when my Master possesses everything in the the sky and on the earth, and beneath the earth?”

[Mawsu'ah ibn Abi ad-Dunya رحمه الله, v. 2, pg. 269]
"My son, do not let your past carelessness make you lose hope of achieving good, for many people have come back to wakefulness after long sleep."

Do that difficult thing
The more you try to please people, the more unhappy you will become. Be yourself and see how much people are drawn towards you.

What Is True Repentance?
Shaykh Muhammad bin Sālih al-'Uthaymīn رحمه الله stated:

"Whenever your sadness has lasted (with you) for a long time, it is upon you to be patient and make prayer (as a means to remove your sadness)."

[تفسير القرآن الكريم ١٦٥/١]
Don’t Stress It, Rely on Allāh ﷻ

[Imām ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Saʿdī]

Don’t let worry, stress and grief overcome you. Rely on Allāh, he will suffice you.
There’s still time to make that change before Ramaḍān, still time to enter it prepared and forgiven.
