Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

This is a reminder page for myself to look back on. If you benefit from it, Alḥamdulillāh. If not, please remember me in your du'ā's.

What is Love?

Sh. Adnan al-Saqqa رحمه الله - said: “Love is the noblest thing the chests contain (i.e. Hearts), and a life without love has been wasted."

[ft. Shaykh Adham al-Asimi]
Small circle. Private life. Content heart. Clear mind. Peaceful life.

The Prophet ﷺ was so focused on Ramaḍān that he would prepare for this blessed month even in the preceding ones - and with Sha'ban almost upon us, shouldn't we do the same?
We all sin. Don’t despair. Keep repenting and asking for His forgiveness. Don't let droplets of sins become oceans of regret. Be sincere and ask Him wholeheartedly.

Why do you want to get married?

Sh. Saeed al-Kamali’s words on this topic shines a light on the intentions one should have when wanting to get married.

[@qamarinitiative]
We often think to ourselves and start regretting things we may have done in the past. But, the past is the past. We learn from them errors and try to become better people. No matter how many sins, regrets or mistakes we’ve done - they are not a true reflection of us today. Yes you maybe have learnt things and improved, but it shouldn’t stop from you achieving what you want.

We often think people will say xyz about us. To an extent it is true, we should value others’ opinions but not to the extent where it’s the only thing we care about. They may know things about you which you don’t want them to know. But the same principle applies, if we try better ourselves for the sake of Allah then others’ opinions doesn’t matter.
Whoever is inspired to make dua, then the answer is wanted for him

قال تعالى: {ادعوني استجب لكم}
And Allah said: {Call upon me and I will answer}

For if a person finds himself accepting to dua

And his chest opens to dua

Then this is from the signs of goodness and success from Allāh ﷻ

And dua will be beneficial and fruitful if the supplicator adheres to the conditions of dua and it’s correct manner that are in the Quran and the sunnah of our prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
