Genius filmmaker Stanley Kubrick is famous for using composition to elicit psychological reactions from the viewer.

He uses a compositional technique called “One-Point Perspective.” This can be constructed by placing the camera perspective directly opposite from the horizon line and vanishing point. 👁

With this technique, the audience’s attention is always at the center of the scene (where the vanishing point lies). By placing the focus on a particular point, it makes them wonder if something will happen, creating an environment of tension and anticipation. 🧠

The historic medieval town of Amersfoort. Among the cities of Holland, it is one of those that best preserves its old town as it was in the Middle Ages. Known as the "city of stone" (Keistad). The name Amersfoort first appears in the 11th century.
