You might be surprised to see hundreds of cats wandering freely around the ruins. Don’t worry, they are the beloved “guardians” of the city! These cats are well-fed, friendly, and very used to people. The orange cat in the upper left corner is Garfield, who is so famous that he even has a popular Instagram profile called "Garfield of Ephesus". The knock-knock cat is named Pisus.
