LPT: if you're struggling to fall asleep for more than an hour, get out of bed and do something for 15 minutes to reset your body's internal bedtime routine
I'm bad at phrasing things, but basically it's as the title says. Trying to fall asleep for more than an hour can be frustrating, which hinders falling asleep. Your internal clock didn't reach "bedtime" like it usually does after your nightly routine. If you get up, do something else for 15 minutes, and lay down again, you'll be much more likely to fall asleep. It resets the "time to fall asleep" cycle.I do this every night that I'm struggling to sleep and it has never failed me. I recommend it to everyone struggling with sleep and they say it helps when they aren't able to fall asleep.

LPT: If you want your boiling hot drink to be warm enough to drink quickly, stir it a lot. Stirring it let's the heat escape. Keep checking in between stirs if it's the comfortable temperature.

LPT: If your car has daytime running lights they are probably bright enough to drive at night with, especially in cities but your tail lights are still off. Remember to turn on your headlights at night or check if your car has auto feature so it does that for you.

Every so often I pick up a bouquet from the discounts at the floral section of the grocery store. I spend less than ten dollars(sometimes less than 5!) and it gives me some wonderful decor for a casual gathering or just to have something colorful in the house. When I get it home, I cut down the stems to various heights and style the flowers myself. It goes from looking like a basic bouquet to one I could have picked up for $30-50 at the florists. Some flowers can even be hung to dry when the rest of the bouquet is done so you have them longer.

I started using one because I couldn't get past this freaking cough, but didn't feel it warranted a doctor visit. I recently bought a recessed power strip for a table and when looking at the cutout dimensions it listed 1.96in x 6.10in which would have been a pain to measure out. On a hunch I tried converting to metric and found that effectively was 5cm x 15.5cm which was substantially easier to measure out and cut.Even though the instructions may be converted to imperial, the product probably isn't.
