What eMail-service do you use (that doesn't require your phone number, another email address and shoe size of your first-born)?

So, not exactly "Piracy" but related and i figured you might have some tips... I'm looking for a free-mail service that doesn't force me to reveal my identity/connect to my data. It used to be so easy to get an free mail-address, but lately every provider seems to force you to give out another verifyed address or even worse checks your phone number. Are there any providers left, that don't do that? What do you use?

I don't look for trash-mail services like byom or [trash-mail.com](https://trash-mail.com) as they are often blocked, but a real provider that doesn't "ask too much questions" and just gives me an address I could use to create accounts. Are there any left?

Help with screenshot of Protected content.

I pay a subscription to a online classes provider and bought their hard notes for offline study purposes. Due to the pandemic the delivery was delayed and now they want another month to maybe deliver it. They today announced that the notes will be available on their website for a limited time. They are very particular about screenshots and I really don't want to get banned.

I have paid for the service, I have paid for the notes too. I just want to screenshot them from windows so I can compile them and use on my tablet, which will be great to carry around.

Is there any way to screenshot them without the windows black screen or them being notified? Please help me out.

is it piracy to download a game for a system that you own on your pc?

(for the record, i am not asking about the law here. just opinions!)

i was curious about this sub's opinion on this matter. this started as a discussion between some friends and me. i made the argument that if one were to own a game on one platform, they should be allowed to install it on another. the way i see it, it is no different to the period in time where everyone was switching from casette tapes to cd and many people would transfer their songs onto blank cds. companies even sold devices specifically for this purpose.

being that in this instance we are assuming that the person owns the game legally, can we really call it piracy if they grab a "pirated" copy for another console?

Google Drive seems to detect pirated books and won't let me share files

I downloaded a book my mother wanted recently and have no way to physically give it to her, so uploading is necessary.

I had the pirated book on my google drive and when I tried to share it popped the message that the file violates their TOS yada yada spend money on legit re-education platforms approved by our governing elites yada yada.

I assume drop box is the same shit.

Any alternative that won't do this?
