Does [J2TEAM IDM](https://github.com/J2TEAM/idm-trial-reset)[\-trial-reset](https://github.com/J2TEAM/idm-trial-reset) still work on resetting the IDM Trial days? Anything better than Lucky Patcher?

I've been using Lucky Patcher for years and most of the time it works well for Android apps. But on the few occasions that it doesn't, it leaves me wanting more since it is the only patching app I know of.

Do DeDRMed AZW3 files (Kindle ebooks) contain any personal info such as the Amazon account that bought it?

I've bought a book that isn't on Libgen and was considering sharing it there. I've put the file through Calibre with the DeDRM plugin and the DRM has been removed. Does that file still have any information that could link the book back to me?

Automotive software - why so many paywalls?

I've recently been searching for OEM software again - BMW, MB, VAG, maybe some ECU files.
Many of the websites offering clearly pirated versions of that software seem to use a paywall, with either a fee to be allowed to register at all, or a token scheme where each download has to be paid for.
Why is this cancerous form of piracy / file sharing so prevent with these topics - and what solutions are there to work around it?

Does anybody know any link generators for florenfile or hotlink? I'm at my wit's end.

Tried VPN and every link generator I know. Any method to bypass their download limits would be appreciated. I don't mind if registration is needed but I can't pay and I don't have any card details to provide.

ETA: I'm looking for lossless audio and found a website using hosters. If you have a source with a good collection, I'd love those too. I know usenet's not great for music and I'm working on a private torrent but honestly, I'm interested in anything that gets me lossless audio.

I think I have a malicious trojan

Hello everyone. I downloaded a software from a magnet link that I pasted on Transmission. Everything was cool when downloading and all.

After everything finished I got an alert from Windows Security saying that a '.exe' file was infected with a crypto miner I think (Win32/Occamy.b to be more specific). The file that contains that malware doesn't show on my folder of the downloader software because Windows Security quarantined it.

It gives me the option or either Remove or Restore. If I restore it, does that mean that I got the virus? Or only that happens if I open it?

Also, is there a way of keeping the file (restore it without open it) and then clean that file with malwarebytes, would that make it secure to execute it?

What actions do you recommend?

Malwarebytes just blocked activity from my transmission torrent client for the first time, most of my torrents are from nyaa. Is that normal?

I booted up transmission last night and got 3 RTP detection notifications that are listed as trojans with action of "Blocked website." 2 of them have ip addresses listed as location and the third has arenabg(.)ch listed as location. This happened pretty much the moment I opened transmission and afterwards all uploads and downloads completely stopped.

I have never had this happen before and it seems suspicious since nyaa was just recently offline yesterday. Any help/advice? False negative or something to be concerned about? I looked up a youtube video about whitelisting torrent client .exe files to keep malwarebytes from blocking them but I've been downloading stuff for months and never had this issue so not sure if I should do that just yet. Any guidance is appreciated.

JDownloader 2 Plugin Defect

I get a "Plugin Defect!" Every time I try to grab links from fitgirls multiupload, anyone know why this started happening and how to fix this? It seems to not be grabbing any of the file hosters.

Update: it seems to be caused by JD updates, something to do with core updates.
