Apparently, as a woman, I cannot be the primary driver in the rental car that I reserved?!
This happened to me over the weekend at Boston Logan at the Av car rental counter.
I booked the rental car reservation nearly a month before travel. I booked my reservation in my name, with my driver’s license information, and my credit card. Upon arrival at the car rental counter, I greeted the clerk, we exchanged pleasantries, and then I gave her my drivers license, credit card, and confirmation number for the rental. It was at this time that the clerk tried to return my driver’s license and asked for my husband's drivers license as the primary driver (he is not the primary driver and the reason for that is irrelevant.) I explained to her that she had my driver’s license already and she again insisted that my husband would be the primary driver and that she needed his license. My husband and I both told her once again that I was the primary driver, the reservation and credit card are all in my name. Her attitude shifted at this point to being curt and short tempered. At one point she admonished me for taking my credit card out of the card machine when prompted to by the machine itself. The entire experience was stressful, insulting, and I am not sure why I am still shocked by it.
Edit: I’m in my 40s and should have originally included that information.
Edit 2: Around 6pm yesterday someone reported me to Reddit Cares and I can no longer see or answer replies to this post.

My husband stealthed me
I asked him to wear a condom and he got up and went to the bathroom...and he didn't. It was dark and I wasn't wearing my contacts. He made sure I didn't check before/after. I only realized the next morning when I didn't see a condom in the trash.
We've been (successfully) using condoms + natural family planning for 10 years. We have a 6 month old baby and my period just restarted, so I wanted to be extremely cautious until I enter more months of data into my fertility tracking app.
My brain knows this is sexual assault. I know I should call a therapist so I can talk about it. But it's really hard to see it that way, and to say it out loud. They say almost 1 in 3 women will experience sexual violence, but I never thought it would be me or my husband of 10+ years.

Watched two women connect in a coffee shop gave me a moment of hope in this sad world.
Short story but happy.
I'll call these women One and Two
One had ordered and was waiting for her coffee when Two walked in. Two complimented One's outfit and then Two said "oh but Look at YOU! You are so beautiful."
Two then apologized to the barista for the delay and said "sorry, I think I just met my new best friend"
One & Two kept chatting, exchanged phone numbers and details and once they got their drinks they walked out together.
We are strong together ladies. We still know how to be a community. I'm proud of us.
Be a light for other women.

Joe Biden's speech on Democracy could lead to more incensed pastors speaking about politics from the pulpit this Sunday. Here is the IRS form to report churches for political influence.
Originally posted by u/skipperdogs in r/exchristians and posted to r/atheism byu/moschocolate1. Now is a great time to remind everyone, because Biden's speech on Democracy is already causing the evangelical right to go into overdrive, and the chances of pastors violating their tax exempt status this Sunday by exercising political influence are especially high. It's a great time to hold them accountable.
Here's the post: www.reddit.com/r/exchristian/comments/uwhjdj/time\_for\_a\_new\_challenge/
The basics:
Some atheists are now going to services to monitor political influence used by preachers, priests, etc., and reporting them for violation of their tax-exempt status.
Use form IRS 13909, and check boxes 3-5 or those that apply.
Also use form 211 to claim whistle blower reward.

Edit: Many services are transmitted on-line, for those of you who may be too uncomfortable going to a service in person. I understand that hearing these sermons again can be stressful and traumatic, but this is a great opportunity to fight back against how damaging political rhetoric from the pulpit is for the country and for those of us who had to endure it as children until we were able to leave.

My boyfriend told me my pussy is too loose
CW: non consent
I guess I’m glad he was honest, but I honestly feel very hurt by it. He said that I get too wet and I’m not tight enough so it doesn’t feel very good for him.
I wanted to tell him that with my ex boyfriend, I had a really hard time getting wet. My ex would hurt me sometimes from forcing himself in me when I wasn’t ready… so me being overly wet and “loose” is exciting for me, it means that sex is actually enjoyable and painless.
Now I’m trying to think of ways to make myself less turned on because I want it to be good for him but I don’t know what to do :(

I told him I was tired of taking on the mental load of managing our relationship and he said "tell me how I can make it up to you" without even kind of seeing the irony.
Just thought that was funny, looking back.
This type of thing would be said a lot- "tell me what you want me to do" "tell me what you want to hear"
This is the equivalent to hearing "just make me a list" after you ask him to help with meals and househild upkeep.
So not only do I have to get hurt, bring it up, manage the conversation so it's healthy and productive, but.i also have to tell you how to fix it and what to say?
Have some agency. Get a sense of self. Act on your own accord and navigate the consequences of being yourself like every other person on the planet.
It's been a while since I broke up with that person, but when I visit home and see him, I still get annoyed about how much he milked my trust and devotion dry.
