Made a clean, no-BS directory of the best tech newsletters. Would love your suggestions!

<!-- SC_OFF -->Hey folks! I recently built PatchNotes — a super minimal and clutter-free site that lists some of the best tech newsletters out there. No spammy popups, no fancy distractions — just high-quality newsletters for devs, engineers, and tech folks. I'm starting small with handpicked ones across topics like web dev, AI, startups, product, etc. But I'd love to grow it with help from the community. 🙌 If you have a favorite tech/dev/product newsletter that you swear by, or if you run one yourself, feel free to submit it using the form on the site. Would really appreciate your input! <!-- SC_OFF -->Hey folks,
I’ve been thinking a lot about how programming is changing—especially with the rise of generative AI. It feels like the job isn’t just about writing code anymore, but more about guiding and shaping conversations, both with humans and machines. I tried to capture some of those thoughts in an article I just finished:
👉 How Programming Has Changed Forever – Inside the 2025 mindset — and how to thrive alongside AI It’s not a hype piece—it’s more of a reflection on how we work, think, and what skills still matter. I also share how I wrote the article using the same back-and-forth workflow I now use for coding with AI. If you give it a read, I’d really appreciate any feedback or pushback. Curious how others see this shift. Thanks! <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/mikaelainalem (https://www.reddit.com/user/mikaelainalem)

Acer laptop keeps doing this help?
https://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/1ks5e6t/acer_laptop_keeps_doing_this_help/
<!-- SC_OFF -->I got an Acer swift Go 14 less than a year ago and the fingerprint ID worked fine until about a few months ago it says “this option is currently unavailable” for not just the fingerprint now, but also the facial recognition and Pin. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the fingerprint windows hello recognition and nothing. I’ve restarted it multiple times I’ve checked it has all the recent updates. Another thing it does is pop up with an Acer anti virus thing and it doesn’t leave my screen unless I click renew and then I edit out if it so idk. We made our entire codebase searchable with semantic search in under 50 lines of Python
https://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/1ks5pxd/we_made_our_entire_codebase_searchable_with/
<!-- SC_OFF -->We’ve been experimenting with AI tools for software development, but ran into the same problem: even the smartest agents get lost in big codebases. They hallucinate helpers, miss logic that’s already written, and can’t recall the structure of the system. So we built a semantic search layer for our codebase using Ducky AI (https://ducky.ai/?utm_source=reddit-programming&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=technical-use_case&utm_content=semantic-code-search). No infrastructure or vector DB setup required. Just 50 lines of Python. Here’s the blog post with full code (https://ducky.ai/blog/semantic-code-search?utm_source=reddit-programming&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=technical-use_case&utm_content=semantic-code-search), setup, and a breakdown of how we structured the documents, indexed them, and queried them using natural language. Would love feedback or thoughts from others building AI dev tools or working with RAG for code. <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/superconductiveKyle (https://www.reddit.com/user/superconductiveKyle)
