Debunking "Faster than Rust": Malicious Benchmarks in Tov
https://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/1xcaveo/debunking_faster_than_rust_malicious_benchmarks/
<!-- SC_OFF -->I have debunked (some of the) benchmarks of this new and suspicious "Tov" programming language. Slight background: My friend (who is pretty interested in new stuff generally) found this thing and sent its main site to me saying things like "looks pretty cool", but my intuition told me this sounds like "a scam", esp. when it claimed it performs faster than C and Rust. I personally think apart from changing the code, they probably tried to set up some specific environments that make their programs run faster than C / Rust, or maybe they just made up the numbers. Who knows. <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/madonuko (https://www.reddit.com/user/madonuko)

Windows DEMO Audio Engine for mixing & mastering
https://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/1xdefpv/windows_demo_audio_engine_for_mixing_mastering/
<!-- SC_OFF -->Beta version Audio Engine to help hobbiest musicians and home producers to mix and mastering their song(tracks) with easy way. Ofcourse can use a traditional DAW to make mix & mastering but need more efford and some experiense to have good results. But mine You just load stems and choose what type it is (drums.bass.vocals.pads.etc) and automacally mix all the stems to a stereo wav. Then you load it to the mastering section and with about the same way and logic choose what type of genre it is or a reference track and you have a polished wav ready for upload it to the music platforms in afew minutes!! DM me if anyone want to try the Demo to give me feedback.cheers! <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/chrisostomoszeg (https://www.reddit.com/user/chrisostomoszeg)
