Github Codespaces has been a dream come true for me
https://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/zjpgm9/github_codespaces_has_been_a_dream_come_true_for/

<!-- SC_OFF -->I know it seems like a gimmick to many, but It's been a lifelong dream of mine to be able to code exclusively on an iPad. And github codespaces has given me the ability to do this, and do it well. Now, it's not perfect. It's not yet the same as coding on a computer. But it's so close. And this past week, I have not even touched my computer. I've developed full web applications using just my iPad. Amazing. And it's actually IMPROVED my workflow. I'm mostly a hobby web developer. And it's always a hassle trying to start new projects in new frameworks. Takes hours some times to get a project at a good foundation to start actually working. But the codespaces have presets, such as a django preset, so that when you create a brand new django codespace, everything is already hooked up and ready to use - in literally 60 seconds. Now for you professional developers, this is probably an inconsequential thing. But for me, it really does save me a lot of time! Anyways, just wanted to share my thoughts. And would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested! PS: they give you a crap ton of free hours every month, so it's free unless you're a really heavy user. <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/Kirby-is-a-bee (https://www.reddit.com/user/Kirby-is-a-bee)
