We've have created an awesome Android app with material design guidelines which shows latest Billboard.com charts

Pie in the Nokia 5.

So, my phone decided to commit deadn't and I forced the Pie update right away.

First things I noticed.

* God, this is like iOS 12 to an iPhone 6, everything's so smooth.
* I had to sideload Digital Wellbeing and install a Wind Down alternative due to the Nokia 5 not being in Android One.
* The new animations are great, but the open app one looks like an iOS ripoff.
* No gestures for me! (thanks)
* Always On Display (more like Sometimes On Display) scares me, this might deplete my battery.
* Th...

Discussion on battery life and why we should have more of it.

Personal anecdote: I had a Moto Z Play, 3 times even, one I killed with water damage by accident, one I sold and the other one I also sold eventually, because I switched phones a lot. The last one had a Moto Turbo power pack too.

I also had a Lenovo P2 somewhere in between, gave that one to my little sister who still uses it.

I really could hit myself in the head for ditching each and every one of them, over the course of these years I have come to realize there is nothing sweeter th...

Why not use folding phone as smart watches?

I just watched MKBHD's on folding displays and I couldn't help but ask myself why there wasn't any mention of a phone that would bend into a smartwatch.
The phone wouldn't have to be perfectly flat since it has to warp around your wrist.
I would solve the problem of fitting all the tech into a small device (if it was even a problem).
And software wise android wear already exists they would just have to adapt it to a "folded phone" version.
Is there something major I'm totally missing and I can...

Notch vs Bezzle vs Punchout: Do you use your front facing camera?

Do you? I dont. I honestly can remember the last time i opened my camera app and wanted to see what the front facing camera had to offer, and it was to see behind a TV to find out where the optical audio port was; and it didnt help. Outside of that scenario, the front facing camera is an after thought and only makes itself known when i want to take a photo of something in front of me, and I get my unprepared face.

I have no interest in any overly R&D solution to fit a front facing camera o...

New option showed up on Google Feed to control content

[Google now feed](https://i.imgur.com/jerkkLM.jpg) had a new option today to control of we'd want more or less of certain content. The earlier one where you select the overflow dots on the top right to do it was a pain and totally unintuitive. This one looks much better.

Also, the background colour (not sure pink or orange) was new too....
