Phone brands with least aggressive battery saving for automation apps like MacroDroid or Tasker?

Almost all phones lack good automation except Samsung.

So, I have to turn to Tasker or MacroDroid but then phone brands like Honor have such aggressive battery saver its virtually impossible to have automation app work reliably, worse yet Honor even kills its own Google apps from reliably working in the background....

However so many good phones also have notorious backgrond saving measures that kill the app and difficult to config not to.

Xiaomi (HyperOS) in my experience also has really aggressive battery saver.

Sony, Motorola, Nothing (Stock) Really good stock Android experience but battery size is basically close to Samsung.

Google as well like Samsung can turn off battery saving and let apps run freely in background with ease.

However, I do not have any experience with any of the other major brands in regards to running MacroDroid or Tasker, specially in terms of reliability over time, as with Honor it can work okay for one week then week two it decides MacroDroid is not used often enough and it turns off all optimisations automatically, even locking MacroDroid in background wont help...

Does anyone have any experience with these brands in regards to how aggressive their background optimisation is? Specially with how Chinese brands tend to have almost entirely different ROM experiences with CN version compared to international releases.

Samsung’s Now Bar is NOT a good copy of Dynamic Island

Either Apple pattented the berhavior, or Samsung's team didn't understand the UX advantage of having a floating bar at the top of the screen.

The real value of the Dynamic Island versus sliding Notifications, are the gestures (touch opens the app, hold-touch opens the details, and sliding shows the next app when you have multiple).

But Samsung’s only allows touching and you need to touch the notification a second time to open the app, which is a waste of time and horrible UX.

Besides, many apps don't use it (which is not Samsung's fault, but I wish the Android ecosystem was more consistent)

6 Months after I got my Galaxy S25

Been using it as my only phone for about six months now.

The good side: battery life has been consistently solid, one UI feels smoother than I expected, size is perfect for one-handed use, and performance has been reliable without any noticeable slowdowns (we'll see if it remains the same over time).

The not so good side: camera processing can still be incosistent depending on the lighting, wish charging was a bit faster, and some galaxy AI features felt cool at first but don't really use them anymore.

Still happy with it and I don't really regret buying it, but I also don't think it's a must upgrade if you're alr using a recent flagship.
