Hey everyone,
I’m the solo dev behind OmniTools, a clean all-in-one utility app built to cut the clutter on your phone. I’ve been working nonstop on a new update, and it’s finally live.
Here are some of the new things:
• Compass & Bubble level
• Password generator

• Updated UI (better layout)

As someone who personally knows someone who got scammed out of a lot of money by sideloading (it is rather prevelant where I live for some reason), I do understand why Google wants to limit sideloading from "unverified developers". But that does not mean that I support them restricting it completely

I feel that Google's current proposed approach is just lazy and predatory to developers/enthusiasts so I decided to make my own...

Tip How to remove the carrier name/logo from the Android Galaxy status bar

If you want to remove the carrier name/logo from the Galaxy status bar,

here’s the quickest way to do it:



Settings → Notifications → Status bar → Show carrier name → Off



This option is hidden a bit deeper than expected, so many users miss it.

Hope this helps anyone trying to clean up their status bar.
