Phone Size Discussion

I am a "compact" phone guy. My heart beckons for a true Motorola Moto X successor.

However, these small phones don't sell so well. Is it just because people like to consume media and so bigger screens are always better?

2022 is looking desperate for upgrades from my Pixel 5. Maybe a S23 in 2023?

Anyone else in the same boat?...

I recorded a 1.5 hour 2160p 60fps video on my LG G8, here are some interesting findings

Resolution was 2160p 60fps. Duration was 1h 28m 21s, Battery went from 80% to 19% (I've had my G8 for 2.2 years, with light use so take battery degradation into account). Instead of making a giant video file, it split the video into smaller videos, and each smaller video is exactly 8 minutes 55 seconds, and about 4 GB in size. Combined, they are 39.6GB. I looked online and found an article about how long videos recorded on Android phones are split into 4GB smaller videos, and how the limitation ...
