Theres a very annoying bug with WebView 84

WebView got updated and now won't properly display any page. The bugged version is 84. If you're having trouble with this, just uninstall the update and install the version 83, whose apk you can easily find.

God bless...

The new Android 11 emoji style is now available on Android Messages for Web!

When I used Android Messages for Web on my iPad today, I found that the emojis have been updated to the new style! When I do the same on my (Windows) laptop, I don’t see the new style there yet though.

This seems to confirm to me that the 5 o’clock shadow (dark downward gradient) is definitely gone from all the face emojis, in addition to a return to form of all the cute animal emojis. All the publications seem to only focus on the animal emojis and the added emojis...

Manufacturers may not care, but LCD phones need to continue existing.

If I buy a smartphone, I buy for long-term use. Even if I move on to a newer model, I still intend on using that older phone for secondary purposes. OLED displays have a burn-in issue that sinks in with longer term usage. With the in-display fingerprint reader now being possible for LCDs, I hope manufacturers will at least move back to LCDs for midrange phones....

Been using an iPhone 8 whilst my s20 Ultra was having a screen replacement,so glad to have my phone back now

Unfortunately I cracked my screen on my S20 Ultra,so I had to send it to Samsung Repair Store to get it replaced.
In this time(about 3 days) I was using an iPhone 8 with IOS 13.6.
I just could not get used to it at all.
Nothing was making sense, simple things like sliding, calling, runnibg through app,had to take unnecessary steps.
Man I was just struggling,I understand they might have a good Eco System or whatever but there is no fun in using that phone.
I dunno if it's Android or the One U.I ,but...
