Apple's PIP animation is how I said Android's should have been from the beginning with gesture nav.

On iOS 14, you swipe to go home and the app shrinks into the pip window. This is an obvious and intuitive animation.

On Android 10+, you swipe to go home, and then the pip window fades into view. It's rather inelegant and somewhat... clunky.

The other thought about iOS 14 I haven't seen mentioned anywhere yet is that app clips are also ripped straight from Android/the play store. The difference is, nobody used them on Android. I don't even remember what google officially called them... THAT'S ...

Snapchat ruined the reputation of Android.

I know I'm not the first person to think about this but the more I think into it the angrier I get. Snapchat singlehandedly created the stigma that "Android cameras suck" or "Androids are slow." Snapchat's refusal to create an app that actually uses the camera API, or at least optimize the app itself, has made for a horrible experience on Android since day 1. Anyone else feel like switching to iPhone has become more possible?

I don't scroll through here that often, so I don't know the general consensus on Apple products here, so forgive me if I'm not saying anything new or if I'm deviating too much from the public opinion here I guess.
