How do you spend time on your phone - share your shame

I like [ActionDash](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.actiondash.playstore) personally, but any Digital Wellbeing app will do.

[Weekly app usage, unlocks, duration of unlocks](https://i.imgur.com/kKkszvF.jpg)

Conclusion: I use Reddit (Sync for Reddit), Twitter (Talon), YouTube, and the web (Firefox Focus), and basically little else. I unlock my phone way too frequently for 1m sessions. Clearly I have a problem 🤨😲...

Realme X50 Pro and iQOO 3 join the list of devices getting an Android 11 beta!

iQOO (Vivo spin-off brand) [announced on Weibo](https://www.weibo.com/1651911632/J6httaPmY) that their iQOO 3 will get an Android 11 beta. No announcement that I can see from iQOO India yet.

A Realme spokesperson confirmed to me that the X50 Pro will get an Android 11 beta in mid-July. [They haven't posted an announcement yet, but we have the details here.](https://www.xda-developers.com/realme-x50-pro-android-11-beta/)

So far, these other devices are getting Android 11 betas:

Gboard should add "landscape mode"-friendly split keyboard

It's been brought up before but I feel like it needs more attention

Phones are getting bigger and taller which means landscape mode is getting wider and wider

Splitting the keyboard just seems like the obvious thing to do, considering the amount of media like movies and games constantly having us use the phones in landscape mode whenever we might get a text that we'd wanna reply to immediately....

Can we please combine Gesture Navigation and the Buttons?

(This is all in regards to the Pixel Launcher, as my phone is a Pixel 3. Also, I've never posted here before and I guess this could be a rant, but I intended this post to be somewhat of a feature request and/or discussion.)

*TLDR is added at the bottom.*

I was an iPhone user for pretty much my whole life until about a month ago when I bought myself a Pixel 3. Because of this, I fell in love with the Gesture Navigation that was released in Android 10 due to its similarity to...

Are Chinese smartphone companies pushing others out of the market?

First of all, this is not a xenophobic attack or anything like it so please don't take it that way.

The point that I want to make is that in the recent times we have all these generally new Chinese smartphone companies like Xiaomi, Vivo, Realme, Oppo, OnePlus, ~~Huawei~~ quickly managing to find themselves in the top 10 world wide phone manufacturers lists while some established brands like Sony and LG keep plummeting. I would also count Motorola and Nokia but they're now owned by Chinese compa...

The icon remained the same, but the opening logo (near the bottom of the screen) has changed accordingly to the title, after todays update. It now reads "Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus".
