Had the incredible opportunity to travel West Texas with these amazing innovators in the Bitcoin Space, and discussing my passion projects of Bitcoin Education, Mining Decentralization, and Lightning adoption with them. Really looking forward to seeing the Proof-of-work that emerges from this week's efforts!

Driving to Vancouver, Canada where I'll be speaking on a panel about teaching Bitcoin to high schoolers. Stopped for breakfast in the middle of nowhere literally at a restaurant called The Rusty Tractor and across from the bar with country music playing is an otherwise unassuming ATM with one notable difference. Gradually, then suddenly, we will get there! First the ATM, then the cashier, then everywhere! Hope to see you in Vancouver for the MiPrimer Unconference and Learning Bitcoin Conference!

Well, RecklessApotheosis is down and may be for a while, I am troubleshooting now, but I can't pinpoint yet what's wrong other than I believe it's a hardware issue.

Hello all. So the troubleshooting with the server ended up finding a dead backplane on the server. I purchased a replacement server, but they're heavy and ship slowly. It is scheduled to arrive on September 4th, and I hope to have it set up and the VMs migrated by the 5th. So far we've been fortunate to only have had a single FC, if you can all be patient, I may be able to get the node back up with only 1 closure! Thank you all for your patience and well wishes. Noderunning is definitely Reckless, and you never know what's going to go wrong next! I'm going to try my hand at setting up live migration on the VM when I get the cluster recovered, so the node can survive not only hard drive failures, but also server failures in the future.
After 6 days of downtime and only 2 FCs, RecklessApotheosis is back up and in the game! It'll take a while to sync blocks and finish starting but we are back in business! Thank you all for your patience! The server will probably go down a couple more times tomorrow as I clean up some hardware stuff but I'll make sure there are no pending forwards then.

Not noderunning related, but we received an awesome delivery today of 54,000 bzm2 ASICs! We are going to he launching both a tremendously exciting "first ever" miner as well as a larger model that we will be launching a crowd funding campaign for soon! We can't wait to show you all what we have cooking!
