RecklessApotheosis had a diskspace exhaustion issue 5 hours ago and I missed it. I temporarily cleaned up the issue and am rebooting the server now, I'll make a more long-term fix tomorrow, but it should be back up soon, fingers crossed for no FCs in this ridiculously high mempool environment!

There is a power outage here due to an ice storm. We have backup power, but CenturyLink unfortunately does not manage the ice well and we don't have backup Internet here. So RecklessApotheosis is offline until the Internet comes back up!
Well, we had Internet for a while, but the freezing rain took care of that unfortunately. Spectrum us offline again for 10 hours now with no ETA for restoration of service. Ironically nearby Starlink is having no issues operating in this ice storm. I think it's time to switch! Sorry to everyone waiting for RecklessApotheosis to come back up. We have power so as soon as the Internet comes back we'll be routing again! In the meantime enjoy these photos from our icy walk around town.

So a quick update: RecklessApotheosis is currently offline due to disk space exhaustion. I'll fix it as soon as I have a solution. Sorry folks!
Okay, RA is being migrated to new hardware right now, I was able to bring it back up yesterday and there should be no pending forwards. Hopefully the migration is complete in the next 3 hours.

RecklessApotheosis is now up and running on the new hardware, it's catching up 115 blocks on mainnet, and the database is starting up. I'll keep an eye on it, but we expect to be routing transactions again in an hour hopefully! Thank you all for your patience, the server it's now running on is far beefier (sorry no proxmox yet!) and should end up being even more stable than before. We highly encourage serious noderunners to use VMs for their nodes, it made migrating from suffering hardware a breeze and to use RAID for your database (the blockchain data is less important to have mirrored). Thank you all for your patience!

It is with a heavy heart that after almost 3 years and billions of sats routed, that we must inform our peers that we are taking down our shingle and closing #RecklessApotheosis. Got a great tip on XRP and going to close our channels so we can exchange the node's capital into Ripple and staking Ethereum! See ya'll on the other side!
