Alright folks, siphoning funds from custodial BlueWallet to self-custody LNDHub on RecklessApotheosis is complete, just a day before BW's shutdown! If you still have LN funds on BW don't forget to take them off today! With that complete, RA is going down for an LND update. Forwards are currently disabled, and we'll see how painless going from LND 0.15.4->0.16.2 is!

And after only 36 minutes we're back up and operational everyone, running the latest and greatest of all the software! Happy #SatStackerSunday! What a mempool eh folks? I think Plebnet Noderunnings reached a new ATH for messages sent in a single day! As both heavily involved in the Bitcoin Mining arena as well as Lightning, RecklessApotheosis is crazy excited as well as mildly concerned over the number of transactions being mined every block! We had a slow routing week, only growing by a single channel, but at least we didn't lose any for the second week running! Which, given the painful FC fees people are reporting, we are hugely blessed to have escaped so far! Routing slowed way down, likely due to de-risking by other routing nodes and a reduction in global rebalances, also the reduction in newly opened channels resulted in a reduction of local balancing of new channels. We only routed 65m sats over 515 transactions, but hey, no closures! So I'm counting this as a win! Also we're planning a Plebnet meetup on Thursday the 18th in Miami, more details to follow hopefully! One such noderunner has been a pillar in our community, Medici (@walmer_bolfet). We approached Medici about an arrangement we'd like to share with peers of that node. For anyone who had a channel with Medici, RecklessApotheosis is offering to cover the cost of the cooperative closure of that channel, and the fees with opening a new channel of the same size or larger back to RecklessApotheosis, up-to 27s/vB for each operation.
