RecklessApotheosis had the good fortune to visit Abundant Mines this last week and tour one of their facilities and to have a great chat about Lightning and Mining integration with their team and with Noah from OpenNode. We have had a channel with OpenNode for 2 years now, and are excited about the inevitable convergence of Bitcoin mining and layer 2 networks. Also, RecklessApotheosis is being rebooted for software updates and should be back up soon!

Happy 15th Bitcoin Pizza Day. In 2010 Laszlo paid 10k Bitcoin for two Papa Johns pizzas! Today, that purchase is nearly the same as the entire Market Cap of Papa Johns the corporation! 🤯 It's valuable to remember that every decision we make has an opportunity cost. Some are greater than others and although it doesn't pay to regret past decisions, it does pay to use them to inform your next ones! Spend your time and your sats wisely. That pizza you ate in 2010 was billion dollar pizza, and the pizza you eat today may be billion dollar pizza 15 years from now!

As the school year comes to a close, our My First Bitcoin class celebrates the graduation of 9 students this year, and this is our first cohort with adult graduates! It is so gratifying to have so many students voluntarily see this class through all the way to the end, and eyes be opened to a future antifragile economy that is free from fiat and State interference in the honesty of our money. Proverbs 11:1 is the biblical principal behind Bitcoin's importance in our society and why sound financial education is so important to a generation that is being deprived of it, and sold a basket of lies about inflation, instant gratification, debt, and compound interest. Summer will be relaxing, but I can't wait to start up our next class in the Fall!

RecklessApotheosis is down for maintenance, and has been for the past 5 hours, an unexpected issue cropped up from postgresql and we are debugging it.
OK, RecklessApotheosis is going down again briefly (hopefully) for a planned networking change, just have to migrate the port forwards and it should be back up.
So RecklessApotheosis is currently offline as both power and internet are out right now. In addition, there is a risk of a moderate Tsunami in 4 hours, so we'll see how that goes!
Bitcoin Is For Everyone was a tremendous success and thanks to @ThisIsMarcG Seedsigner had a spectacular booth, and we had a blast volunteering for part of the day demonstrating 2/3 multisig fully self custodial testnet transactions to the masses!

Had the incredible opportunity to travel West Texas with these amazing innovators in the Bitcoin Space, and discussing my passion projects of Bitcoin Education, Mining Decentralization, and Lightning adoption with them. Really looking forward to seeing the Proof-of-work that emerges from this week's efforts!
