Rasūlullāh ﷺ said: "Two eyes will not be touched by the Fire: an eye which has wept out of fear of Allāh and an eye which has spent the night guarding in the cause of Allāh."
[at-Tirmidhī - Sahīh]
This is Sheikh Muhiyudeen al-Kurdī, he taught the Qur’an for 72 years in Damascus. He was one of the most senior teachers in Syria who taught the Qur’an to the majority of today's Muslim Ummah.
He passed away but left the world smiling. He left knowing there is nothing better than teaching the Qur’an and reciting it. He was a companion of the Qur’an who left the world smiling ear to ear. May Allah bless him and honor him for serving His Deen. May Allah make us all from the people of the Qur’an so that when we depart this world we are also smiling! Ameen Ya Rabb.
