Netflix removing The Truman Show by the end of the month.!
I wonder why? Too close to reality for comfort?

Pockets of even temporary collaboration :-)
"Sometimes a hero faces an agonizing decision where the apparent two choices are terrible, such as a Friend or Idol Decision or a Sadistic Choice.
Typically, the hero chooses the lesser of two evils.
However, sometimes the hero can respond with "I don't like those choices; I'm taking a third option!"
It is usually something completely unorthodox or seemingly suicidal.
Yet this typically turns out to be the best choice after all, Everybody Lives, and the day is saved completely.
In general, a Third Option has three basic requirements needed to seem plausible: time, resources, and knowledge.
A Third Option is useless if you don't have time to implement it, don't have (usable) resources/power, or don't have knowledge of it.
Depending on how well that rule is followed, the solution will usually either be incredibly awesome or incredibly stupid."
