Are there ' TV tropes ' that are about media communications and stylings and not only about fictional content?
For instance, the kinds of jokes that Stephen Colbert makes on The Late Show on CBS? Or the way news anchors communicate, or the way media business decisions are made in regards to television shows.

If you think about it, the line between fiction and nonfiction is pretty blurry when it comes to late night shows like Colbert's. Even though they're based on actual news events, they still use fiction tropes to create narratives about them for the sake of entertainment.
