Today, I and some 220 million Orthodox Christians worldwide celebrate Palm Sunday. In the Christian West, today is Easter. But because the Orthodox never departed from the Julian calendar, our date for calculating Easter is usually different than the West’s.

I grew up as an American evangelical.
Later in life, I was introduced to Orthodox Christianity. I’d never seen anything like it. Orthodoxy takes a stand and defends it. They don’t bend to changing cultural norms. During these Woke times especially, for me, Orthodoxy is refreshing.
Far too many of America’s churches are comprising their core beliefs to accommodate our culture—a culture that is increasingly becoming more depraved and decadent. This is not the Way. The Way to Christ is through the straight and narrow. Christians in the East and West must stand firm.
