Dream about Dionysus

My family and people I loved decided to go to a beach. I remember we were all just having a good time at first then all of a sudden someone I loved (I can’t recall who) started drowning. My first thought was to just pray to God to save them (I think because in reality I’m terrified of the ocean and would not go in there) My family members and I all got into a circle and started praying. Then when I turned around to look into the ocean I saw this illuminated statue-like being hovering over the drowned body. I was scared when I first saw it but for some reason I thought this thing I prayed for was an Angel and when I did look at it the inaudible voice told me it’s name Dionysus and wanted me to praise it for showing up when I prayed. Then I woke up. I was confused because I never had a name be told so clear in my dream, so I searched the name Dionysus on google to see if there was any meaning behind it. Come to find out it’s an ancient greek God who I’ve never heard of before
