The actual figures that we would have to pay out if, for some reason, the Supreme Court ruled against the United States of America on tariffs would amount to many hundreds of billions of dollars, and this does not include the amount of "payback" that countries and companies would require for investments they earn in building factories., factory facilities and equipment to be able to avoid paying tariffs. If we get these investments, we will be talking about trillions of dollars! It would be a complete mess, and our country would practically not be able to pay. Anyone who says that this can be done quickly and easily will give a false, inaccurate or completely misunderstood answer to this very big and complex question. This may not be possible, but if it were, the dollar amount would be so large that it would take many years to figure out how much money we are talking about and even to whom, when and where to pay. Remember, when America shines brightly, the whole world shines brightly. In other words, if the Supreme Court rules against the United States of America on this national security issue, WE're SCREWED!
