The low level of education in Indonesia is attributed to the incompetence of teachers. Why are the teachers incompetence? It is because they are not equipped with the necessary tools for professional development.

In the year 2015, the Teacher Competence Test (UKG) was conducted. Their scores were extremely poor. The national average teacher scores were 40.14 (primary school), 44.16 (middle school), and 45.38 (high school). The minimum standard score in 2019 was 55. Last year, 2018, was raised to 75.
