My 2020 Vision for Graduates: How to be Optimistic in Terrible Times

my advice to you today is to listen your allies at least as much as you listen to your inner voice. Believe in yourself, but believe in your network too. Because your network creates the map of the world that provides the context you need to make good forward progress in your life. And in times like these, where there’s so much confusion and uncertainty, you will definitely need that map.

“Consider a future device ... in which an individual stores all his books, records, and communications, and which is mechanized so that it may be consulted with exceeding speed and flexibility. It is an enlarged intimate supplement to his memory.”

16 Minutes on the News #41: Tiktok and ‘Seeing Like an Algorithm’
https://a16z.com/2020/09/18/16mins-tiktok-seeing-like-an-algorithm-friendly-design-creativity-network-effects-video/
然后,他们提到了一个词:“seeing like an algorithm” 。
