节制生活，锻炼身体，用双赢、用黄金法则（The Golden Rule）来组织自己的生活，不要强迫自己，去做自己喜欢做的事情。这些听起来都是常识，但是你在年轻的时候这些常识不太容易真正做到。因为大家着急，特别是年轻的时候。为什么着急？因为老是跟别人比，过去的同学谁谁谁还不如我呢，现在怎么样怎么样了。这是他的生活，跟你有什么关系呢？每个人都得活自己的一辈子，而且这一辈子其实很短，年轻时候觉得日子很慢，到了我这岁数，这日子就飞快啊，一年转眼就过去了。所以这辈子你必须得活自己的生活，你只有活自己的生活，你才能活出幸福来。而且只有过自己的生活，你才能真正地进步。不怕慢，“慢就是快”，这是段永平先生最喜欢讲的，我觉得他讲得很对。
