✈️ Telegram has launched a 🎁 Gifts feature. You can now go to any user’s profile, open the ➕ menu, and select the “Send a Gift” option.

The recipient can choose to display the gift on their profile or exchange it for Telegram Stars with a slight value loss. The received stars can be used in any familiar way (buying other gifts, leaving paid reactions on posts, purchasing services in Mini Apps).

Gifts marked with the “limited” tag can be converted into NFTs on 🙏 TON Blockchain in the future, as Pavel Durov stated in his latest post. The number of such gifts is limited: after the feature launched, 100k 🌸 flowers and 500k 🍭 lollipops were available, but they were completely sold out by the evening.
