COVID-19: Circuit breaker measures

All, esp elderly, should stay home; go out only for essentials
- Wear a mask when out
- Observe safe distancing measures: at least 1m away from others

First-time offenders: $300 fine
Repeat offenders: Higher fines or prosecution

- Non-compliance: Up to $5,000 fine, or suspension/cancellation of licenses, or both

๐Ÿ“ 24 work pass holders found breaching circuit breaker measures
๐Ÿšซ Their work passes will be revoked. All 24 workers will be permanently barred from working in SG.

- Over 70% drop in public transport ridership and traffic volume
- Close to 80% of workers telecommuting or suspended operations
- Abt 30-40% of people out on weekdays, 20-30% on weekends

- More than 6.2k warnings
- Over 500 fines issued
- 1st offence: Fine up to $300
- 2nd offence: Fine up to $1000; could face prosecution
- Strict enforcement will continue

COVID-19: Mask up when out

Stay at home, unless for essential trips

๐Ÿ˜ท All must wear a mask when outside their homes:
- On public transport, taxis, private hire cars
- Walking to or from, or at markets
- If you are an essential worker, at your workplace

No need to wear a mask if you are engaged in strenuous exercise (eg. jogging, brisk walking)
โ˜ Must put on mask after exercise

๐Ÿ‘ถ Mask-wearing is not recommended for young children below the age of two for safety reasons
- Enforcement will be flexible for groups with difficulties wearing a mask, eg. children with special needs

๐Ÿšซ It is an offence to disobey this advisory:
