COVID-19: Suspension of non-essential workplaces (7 Apr-4 May)
To minimise transmission between coworkers
Essential services/key economic sectors to remain open
- Including supermarkets, pharmacies, F&B outlets, services for daily living (eg. petrol stations, hairdressers, opticians) transport and telecommunications
- Govt services: Counter services scaled down, digital services available

COVID-19: Reusable masks for all residents
Wear a mask if you are out and in close contact with others
- There’s possibility of undetected cases in the community
- some evidence that infected persons with no symptoms can pass the virus
Reusable masks complement safe distancing measures
- Protect others from you in case you are infected but unaware
- also some protection for us, especially for those who need to interact with others for work
🏥 With global shortage of masks, surgical masks reserved for healthcare workers and those who are sick
Reusable masks distributed progressively from 5 to 12 Apr
🏠 For all residents with registered home addresses
📍 Collection points at designated CCs and RCs
👵 Priority given to seniors aged 60 and above
👨👩👧👦 Family or household members can collect on the behalf of other household members, by bringing along their identification (eg. NRIC, Birth Cert)

From 5 April (Sunday) to 12 April 2020 (Sunday), residents with registered home addresses will be able to collect one (1) reusable mask at the designated CCs or RCs.
Please bring your NRIC, Birth Cert (or any other Identification documents with a barcode) for verification.
Family/household members can collect on behalf of their other household members as long as they have their NRICs, Birth Cert or any identification with barcode.
For Residents with mobility issues, please contact your nearest CC for further assistance.

We have another death due to COVID-19.
A 88 year-old male Singapore PR has unfortunately passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection. He had a history of heart and kidney disease, cancer and diabetes.
Our deepest sympathies to the family. MOH and NCID is providing them with all necessary assistance.

- Stay home as much as possible
- Have someone to get essentials for them if necessary
- Do not go near the elderly if you are unwell, or on quarantine or Stay-Home Notice
