How it works:

2. Enter your SG mobile number; allow to share if you’re identified as case/close contact
3. Turn on Bluetooth; enable necessary functions

- App does not collect personal or location data
- Bluetooth signals between users’ phones estimate distance between users and duration of encounters
- Data pulled with user’s consent

COVID-19: 21 Mar Update

2 deaths due to COVID-19 today.

1) 75 year-old female Singapore Citizen, admitted 23 Feb. Developed serious complications, succumbed after 26 days in ICU. History of chronic heart disease and hypertension.

2) 64 year-old male Indonesian national. Admitted in critical condition after arriving from Indonesia. In ICU since 13 Mar. Developed serious complications. Prior to arrival, was hospitalised in Indonesia for pneumonia. History of heart disease.

MOH and NCID are providing all necessary assistance to the families.

From 23 March 2359 hours (or 11.59PM), all Short-Term Visit Pass holders will not be allowed to enter or transit through Singapore.

The Manpower Ministry will only
allow the entry/return of work pass holders, including their dependents, for those providing essential services, such as in healthcare and transport.

There has been in sharp increases in cases globally. Over the past 3 days, almost 80% of new COVID-19 cases were imported by Singapore residents and Long Term Pass holders who returned from home from abroad. These cases had travel histories to 22 countries.

COVID-19: Additional border control measures
To focus resources on S’poreans

All short-term visitors:
No entry/transit through S’pore

For work pass holders:
Entry/return only for those providing essential services (and their dependents)

All S’pore citizens, PRs and Long Term Pass Holders returning to S’pore
From Hubei province: 14-day quarantine
From all other countries: 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN)
👉 Comply with SHN/Quarantine orders to limit spread of virus

Malaysians with S’pore work permits:
- Will continue to be able to work in S’pore during this period, with appropriate accommodation arrangements
- Transport of goods between Malaysia and S'pore will be facilitated

Additional measures to reduce importation of COVID-19

➡ From 27 Mar, 0900hrs

All incoming travellers to submit health declaration
- Via the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) E-Service (go.gov.sg/healthdeclaration)
- Includes S’pore Citizens, PRs, and Long-Term Pass holders

Health declaration
- Provide your health and recent travel info, personal and contact details
- Up to 3 days prior to arrival
- Must be re-submitted if health condition or travel history changes before arrival

💻 If you don't submit electronically, you may be delayed at immigration clearance as you'll have to do it at the checkpoint.

❌ Those who make false declarations may be prosecuted
