How to create a Shazam bot in just 15 minutes?
We have here a simple free guide. Let's take it in order.
1. Go to our @GenesisCreatorBot constructor and click "Start".
2. Select your language from the list.
3. Now click the "Music recognition Bot" button at the bottom.
4. Log in to @BotFather
5. Enter the phrase in it /newbot
There's not much left, let's go to step 6.
6. Enter the name of your shazam bot.
How do I come up with a name? Nothing complicated — it should reflect the essence of your bot's work.
An example of a good name is AnyMusicFinder
7. Next, enter the username of the bot, it may be similar to the name.
An example of a good username is AnyMusicFinder_bot
You must add _bot at the end of the username.
8. Now it's a small matter - you need to copy the bot token.
Don't be intimidated by this word. The token is something that @BotFather will send you.
This is what the token looks like, you will definitely recognize it: 7895684761:WJKBvdkjvbdujbvlr
9. The penultimate step. We're at the finish line, friends.
Now you need to send this token to our constructor. Right in the bot.
10. The final step 🥳
The constructor will send you a message with a link to your bot.
Go to it and send the phrase /admin
At this moment, anyone who sends a song title or a link there now will receive full-fledged songs, any kind. Right in your bot.
What is missing from your bot?
— Description and stunning avatar.
The description should be brief and reflect, again, the essence of the bot.
An example of a good description:
The avatar must be in 512x512 format. It is bright and, I repeat for the hundredth time, reflects the tasks of your shazam bot.
An example of a good avatar: the usual symbol of a musical note. There are a lot of them in the public domain.
Now, attention, please.
A shazam bot has just appeared in your hands. This is not some kind of dummy. It's a whole tool that can find any music from all over the world!

Hey! It’s been quite a while since our last post. During this time, a lot of work has been done - mostly behind the scenes optimizations, but not only. Here are some of the things we’ve been working on:
We’ve significantly improved the performance and stability of the bots. They now freeze or "think" for a long time much less often - not never, of course, but definitely far less than before. In fact, we now process over 6 million requests every day.
We’ve also redesigned the music recognition search system, making search results noticeably more accurate.
Most importantly, we’ve finally added something users have been asking for years. Until now, technical limitations made this impossible - but we finally found a solution. Music search now includes remixes, underground tracks, and unlicensed music. In short, you can now find much more music. I’m genuinely happy that we managed to make this happen after so much time.
Even more updates are coming in early 2026.

Hey, everyone! You may have noticed that there is now a “recognize music” button under downloaded videos in the bot. I hope this hasn't confused you too much? It turns out that about two-thirds of users don't need music from a link, so I made this feature available on demand instead, thereby saving a lot of resources and keeps the bot running faster for everyone.
This also allowed me to implement new, more advanced recognition. Previously, the bot could identify songs in about 60% of cases, but now the success rate has increased to 87%! How cool is that!
