The Grant Winning Event for the 2nd Call for Proposals of the Responsible Business Fund Plus (RBF+) was successfully held on 5 February 2026 at the Wyndham Grand Yangon Hotel in Yangon.
During the second call for proposals, a total of 827 project applications were received, of which 468 projects were successfully selected, and we are pleased to share this achievement. RBF+ works to strengthen the economic resilience and promote inclusive growth of farmers and Micro, Small and Medium sized Enterprises (MSMEs) involved in agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and their related value chains across Myanmar. We sincerely thank all the farmers, MSMEs, and Service Providers who contributed to bringing these proposals to life.
At the event, Heads of Cooperation of the European Union and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and Head of Mission of Denmark in Myanmar, delivered congratulatory remarks to the farmers and MSMEs selected in the second Call for Proposals.
In addition, products from projects successfully implemented under the first Call for Proposals were showcased, and the RBF+ team provided guidance on the next steps for the second call successful applicants.

The RBF+ team successfully conducted Pre-site Visits, Equipment Check Visits, Pre-disbursement Visits, and Grant Agreement Meetings with farmers and MSMEs participating in the first and second Calls for Proposals across the agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and broader agrifood value chain sectors in Magway, Minbu, and Pwintbyu townships from 5 to 8 March 2026.
During the visit, the team met with paddy farmers, rice millers, agricultural machinery manufacturers, organic fertilizer production business, traditional medicine producers, snack food processors producing fried beans and potato chips, and coffee growers and processors across Magway Region. Discussions focused on the current status of their businesses, key challenges, and plans for future growth and expansion.
In addition, Grant Agreements were successfully signed with selected farmers and MSMEs from Magway Region under the second Call for Proposal. These agreements mark an important milestone in supporting technology upgrading and business expansion initiatives, enabling beneficiaries to enhance productivity, improve product quality, and strengthen their competitiveness.

ခရီးစဉ်အတွင်း မကွေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီးရှိ စပါးစိုက်တောင်သူများ၊ ဆန်စက်လုပ်ငန်းများ၊ လယ်ယာသုံး စက်ကိရိယာ ထုတ်လုပ်ရေးလုပ်ငန်း၊ သဘာဝမြေဩဇာ ထုတ်လုပ်ရေးလုပ်ငန်း၊ တိုင်းရင်းဆေး ထုတ်လုပ်ရေးလုပ်ငန်း၊ ပဲကြော်နှင့် အာလူးကြော် ထုတ်လုပ်ရေးလုပ်ငန်းများနှင့် ကော်ဖီစိုက်ပျိုး ထုတ်လုပ်ရေးလုပ်ငန်းများသို့ သွားရောက်လေ့လာ စစ်ဆေးခဲ့ပြီး လုပ်ငန်းများ၏ လက်ရှိအခြေ အနေများ၊ လိုအပ်ချက်များနှင့် ရှေ့ဆက်ဆောင်ရွက်မည့် အစီအစဉ်များကို ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
ထို့အပြင် ဒုတိယအကြိမ်မြောက် အဆိုပြုလွှာခေါ်ယူမှုတွင် အောင်မြင်ခဲ့ကြသည့် မကွေးတိုင်း ဒေသကြီးရှိ တောင်သူများနှင့် လုပ်ငန်းရှင်များအတွက် ထောက်ပံ့ငွေပေးအပ်ခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ စာချုပ်များ ကိုလည်း အောင်မြင်စွာ ချုပ်ဆိုနိုင်ခဲ့ပြီး အဆိုပါလုပ်ငန်းများ၏ နည်းပညာမြှင့်တင်ရေးနှင့် လုပ်ငန်း တိုးချဲ့ရေး အစီအစဉ်များကို အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ရန် အရေးပါသော ခြေလှမ်း တစ်ရပ် ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါခရီးစဉ်အတွင်း မှတ်တမ်းတင်ခဲ့သော လုပ်ငန်းများ၏ လုပ်ငန်းလည်ပတ်မှု အခြေအနေများ နှင့် ထောက်ပံ့ငွေပေးအပ်ခြင်းစာချုပ် ချုပ်ဆိုနေသည့် အမှတ်တရပုံရိပ်များကို မျှဝေပေးလိုက် ပါသည်။

The RBF+ team successfully conducted Pre-site Visits, Equipment Check Visits, Pre-disbursement Visits, and Grant Agreement Meetings with farmers and MSMEs participating in the first and second Calls for Proposals across the agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and broader agrifood value chain sectors in Magway, Minbu, and Pwintbyu townships from 5 to 8 March 2026.
During the visit, the team met with paddy farmers, rice millers, agricultural machinery manufacturers, organic fertilizer production business, traditional medicine producers, snack food processors producing fried beans and potato chips, and coffee growers and processors across Magway Region. Discussions focused on the current status of their businesses, key challenges, and plans for future growth and expansion.
In addition, Grant Agreements were successfully signed with selected farmers and MSMEs from Magway Region under the second Call for Proposal. These agreements mark an important milestone in supporting technology upgrading and business expansion initiatives, enabling beneficiaries to enhance productivity, improve product quality, and strengthen their competitiveness.
