We started in October 2025 and have done a lot of work since then.
Many things were done for the first time, many — again, testing ideas through real practice.

The lecture explores speculative design as a method of artistic thinking. Drawing on Speculative Everything by Anthony Dunne and Fiona Raby, it examines how fictional worlds and thought experiments become tools for investigating possible futures.

We will look at how a world premise is constructed and how objects or narratives can act as hypotheses about reality, with case studies by Superflux and Unknown Fields Division.

The session is intended for artists, designers, and researchers interested in speculative and worldbuilding practices.

Elena Chadaeva is an artist and researcher working across visual art, sound, and technology. She holds a BA in Transformation Design from Willem de Kooning Academy. Her practice combines artistic research, speculation, and electronics.

The lecture will take place at Spark Space, 28 Arsena. Entry is donation-based (10+ GEL).

Art Residency “From Chaos To Statement” is a 4-week creative program starting 23rd of March. It provides a structured framework where shapeless ideas turn into a coherent project. You will move from areas of interest to final outcome, working with tools from artistic research, speculative design, critical making, and mythopoesis, and applying them in practice.

The program includes 6 workshops, 3 open studios, and a final exhibition. Each stage focuses on a specific step: defining your topic, identifying your audience, developing a method, choosing a form, realizing the work, and preparing it for public presentation.

Workshops can also be attended individually.

Working in a group provides focus and support: regular feedback and a small group setting help maintain direction and bring projects to completion.

This residency is for those who want to articulate their vision, are in a moment of career transition, or are looking for a new way of thinking and creating — and are ready to explore their creativity.
