*LET US PERUSE THESE NARRATIONS ON EVILS OF ABUSING/INSULTING THE SAHABAH*

1️⃣ Abdullah bin Mughaffal (RadiyaLlahu Anhu) narrated that Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "(Fear) Allah! (Fear) Allah regarding my Companions! Do not make them objects of insults after me. Whoever loves them, it is out of love of me that he loves them. And whoever hates them, it is out of hatred for me that he hates them. And whoever harms them, he has harmed me, and whoever harms me, he has indeed hurt Allah, and whoever hurts Allah, [then] he shall soon be dealt with." (Transmitted by Tirmidhi and Ahmad)

✍️ عن عبدالله بن مغفل رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: اللهَ اللهَ في أصحابي، لا تتَّخِذوا أصحابي غَرَضًا بعدي، فمَن أحَبَّهم فبِحُبِّي أحَبَّهم، ومَن أبغَضهم فبِبُغْضي أبغَضهم، ومَن آذاهم فقد آذاني، ومَن آذاني فقد آذى اللهَ، ومَن آذى اللهَ يوشِكُ أنْ يأخُذَه." (أخرجه الترمذي وأحمد)

2️⃣ Abdullah bin ‘Abbas (RadiyaLlahu Anhu) narrated that Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever abuses my companions, upon them is the curse of Allah, the Angels and the whole of mankind.” (Transmitted by At-Tabarani)

✍️ عن عبدالله بن عباس رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من سبَّ أصحابي، فعليه لعنةُ اللهِ والملائكةِ والناسِ أجمعينَ." (رواه الطبراني)

✍️ Ayub As-Sakhtiyani (RahimahuLlahu) said: “Whoever loves Abu Bakr As-Siddiq has indeed upheld the religion (Islam), whoever loves ‘Umar has indeed made the way clear, whoever loves ‘Uthman is indeed illuminated by the light of Allah and whoever loves ‘Ali has indeed grasped the most trustworthy handhold. Whoever speaks well of the companions of Allah’s Messenger is free of hypocrisy." (Al-Wara' by Al-Hafiz Abu Bakr Al-Marrudhi)

✍️ من أحب أبا بكر الصديق فقد أقام الدين ومن أحب عمر فقد أوضح السبيل، ومن أحب عثمان فقد استنار بنور الله عز وجل، ومن أحب عليا فقد استمسك بالعروة الوثقى، ومن أحسن الثناء على أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقد برئ من النفاق." (الورع تأليف الحافظ أبو بكر المرُّوذي)
