“Be #safe,” Said my Mother on the Other side of the Telephone. I nodded a “Yes”

I had recently moved to a New City for my Graduation, and As every parent is: My Anxious Parents used to talk to me twice daily to check if I was Safe.

Going to a new #City is a weird feeling; on one hand, you are happy that you are in a new Environment, and on the other hand, adjusting to its whims and fancies takes a toll on your mental health. Well, It was #Bangalore - The Biotech Silicon Valley.

My Friend called me the next day, he was doing his MBBS, and he was convinced that I must not have left My #MBBS, and I had chosen the #wrong #course, #wrong #direction, and it was not a safe #career at all. I must return to becoming a doctor.

Now let's connect the two statements: Parents always want us to be safe, and friends and family never want us to take risks in our careers. But I think If we can’t fit into a profession, then how can we opt for it - well, that was my logic as a 16-year-old.

“You will fail,” Said my Best frie

“You will fail,” Said my Best friend. “I am ready for the struggle,” I replied.

Fast forward to today, I feel I took the best risk ever. If I would become a doctor, probably i would have been a mediocre or average doctor or even the worst doctor India has ever produced. Instead, I chose to be in a sector I love, I am passionate about, and I like doing what I do. Here is what i learned in last 20 years:

- #RISK is always there in everything we do,
- Every job has a risk associated with it: Pvt sector Job, Govt Job, #Entrepreneurship
- We need to #calculate risk and act based on the #rewards we can get
- Being #Mediocre or #Average is a #Sin
- Do what you #enjoy doing, be #obsessed about it
- Always Choose to be a #Rocket of a field of your choice than to choose a field just because everyone else recommends it.
- Never Ever #compare!
- #Money should be a #byproduct of our obsession and not the Core Obsession itself.

Be the Van #Gogh of your industry, Van Gogh sold only one painting, The Red Vineyard, bought for 400 francs by the painter and art collector Anna Boch. Today, he is widely regarded as one of history's greatest painters and an important contributor to the foundations of modern art.

Be the Light pole of your industry than being an average, mediocre Tug Boat that depends on the waves to float.

As long as you are not violating the laws of #Physics, #Chemistry, #Biology & #Laws of your country, Any risk is worth taking as long as the rewards are worth your time.

Today is Monday, and you are going to take the risk to enter a new Week, So take the risk of doing what you love to do, No matter what’s your age, location, or situation. If you enjoy the work, you will enjoy the moment; you will enjoy the day; you enjoy the life which you have been blessed with.

“Control your #Emotions, Shekhar, Pick your pieces and move forward,” Exclaimed Dr. Arshiya. I had failed my 1st year #Chemistry #Exam and had broken down into tears while collecting the results. The day before the exam, Our Biotecnika servers crashed, and I had to double down to bring it back up; the whole night, I was talking to the datacenter technicians in Hong Kong, and I could not study well.

Growing up, I hated the Education System of our Country.

Study => Study => Exams => Results => Study Again

Especially when the subject was a dreadful one.

I am sure many of you will resonate with this thought.

When i joined the college in Bangalore, they had a peculiar tradition: Daily Exams.

Just imagine, I hated exams, and now these folks had Daily Exams of whatever was taught yesterday.

And on top of all this, We were building Biotecnika & Rasayanika while I was still in college.

And that’s when i realized I had relatively lesser time to study compared to others. While others had full

While others had full evenings to study, I used to get hardly 1 hour per day to study and then go back to college the next day and write the exam.

I hated it. But then Magic happened.

I realized that:

- when you have less time to study, you must innovate how you study.
- Network with friends and Mentors who can teach you shortcuts to study.
- We must work on our memory because how much we study doesn’t matter; how much we remember and are able to recall faster - that matters
- You have to push yourself to study at whatever time is available.
- If time is not available, squeeze time between meals, travel, bathing, cooking, cleaning, and whatever else
- When you are over your mental capacity, above your mental capacity, and Beyond your mental capacity, thats when your mental capacity expands
- it's natural to feel overwhelmed and upset when you feel you are not in control of your studies
- We must keep ourselves hydrated with Motivation and Inspiration.

Push, press, and Squeeze. then your work will be done in a breeze.

Ideate, innovate, create - But keep moving forward even if you move 1 cm forward.

Once I joined the Industry and got on to the #professional treadmill, I realized that every day is an exam, every day we have to achieve #targets, every day is a new #challenge, and every day we must ideate, innovate and create a plan to achieve.

You will always feel that you are above and beyond your mental capacity. But the truth is you are in process of growing your mental capacity and preparing yourself for a Bigger challenge.

I know many of you are writing or going to write an exam in the coming days, so my message to you all is: do not fall prey to your mind’s insecurities & vulnerabilities. Instead, pick your pieces and keep moving forward. Success will come your Way.

There are chances that you will feel fearful, afraid, and various mixed feelings. remember that You are here to leave a legacy, and this exam is just a stepping stone. Just another day, just another step. It does not decide your destiny, you decide your destiny.

What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything? Be brave and embrace exams; results don’t matter, and Attempt matters!

Good morning! Remember, to be a legend, you must be willing to do the #difficult things that others aren't willing to do. It's not easy, but it's what sets legends apart from everyone else. So stay focused, work hard, and never give up on your dreams. You have the #potential to #achieve great things, and with persistence and determination, you can make them a reality. “It's all over; we lost the entire #server,” said the man on the Other side of the Phone. Tears rolled down my eyes, i had just lost the entire Biotecnika & Rasayanika Server.

It was the 7th-day #Biotecnika & #Rasayanika servers were down. The year was 2014, and Month was December.

The Websites were down for 7 continuous days, and all efforts to bring them back were hitting a dead end. I had not slept for more than 2 hours per day during that period. 8 years of hard work was all gone in seconds due to a hacking attempt.

I was upset, dejected, and disappointed that I could not fix it. The servers were “dead & dud”, and all the data was lost.

The next morning, I called a meeting of the team and shared the news. Thats when someone in the team said these powerful words:

“Let's Restart from Scratch” Let's not count what we lost, let's count what we have?

We have our Team, we have our Subscribers, and we have all the abilities and experience to restart it. But this time, intelligently.

A new str

A new streak of energy had just hit us. Yes, we had all the power and ability to redo because we had “us”.

Within 7 days, we were back up and running. And there has been no looking back

Fast forward to today: I want to tell you that whenever in life you feel that you have lost everything and there is no way to get back what you lost. Remember that you have to count on what you still have and what you can do from the existing resources.

When Covid hit us, We had to Shut down Physical Classroom centers in 5 Cities and switch to online. This lesson helped us there as well.

So today, as you start your day, Remember it's not “The End” unless you say so. You have to bank upon:

- your #abilities,
- your #capacities,
- your #potential, and
- your #talent and
- Utilize the limited #resources to create unlimited #future #potential for yourself.
- All you have to do is “figure it out.”

Whenever you feel challenged, Go in with a winner's #Mindset and come out with a #Victory. Even if you #fail, remember no one can take away your learnings, your experiences, and your ability to launch yourself back onto the path of Victory.

Be a Ballistic #Missile, Fly low, under the radar, but when you hit the target, The whole world will come to take notice.

Remember, Today’s overwhelming situation is just here to increase your mental capacity. Embrace it and expand your range of Strike.
