Sometimes you miss the moments and not the person.

Self-reminder: when life gets hard, I need to be easy to myself and kind. When it gets into me and it feels so tiring, I need to rest my body, heart, and mind. If the future is overwhelming to think about, I'll work on the present first and focus myself on the current. I'll make sure myself will feel at ease, 'though it's kind of messy because there's a lot going on at the moment. I know it has been cloudy and blurry on our direction these days, but it will pass by, self—we will witness a sunny day again, we will welcome its rays.

The overall feeling is grateful. Grateful for my family, my home, my work and everything. A year of ups and downs. Thankful for the bad days that made the good ones valuable. Elhamdulillah for everything. Allah is great.
